The 4 OZ READY-TO-USE PERSONAL BOTTLE lets you and your family take MARBLELIFE CLEANERS with you, so you can quickly SPRAY-and-WIPE the Grocery Cart Handle, Grocery Basket, ATM Screen, Gas Pump Handle, Mailbox and any other surface that others may have used before you OR after you.  It is one way to take PERSONAL care when you exit your home, as well as PAYING IT FORWARD a little bit for our neighbors.

CONSIDER getting a READY TO USE PERSONAL BOTTLE for each family member, and re-filling as needed by adding these to your order.

CONSIDER a quart of CONCENTRATE CLEANER to keep stock.  Refill your QUART spray bottle with 0.5 to 1 oz plus water.  Refill your 4 OZ READY-TO-USE PERSONAL BOTTLE with .1 to .15 oz and water.

Better and Healthier Results

Marblelife Tile & Grout Cleaner performs like a liquid sponge, absorbing oil, grease, particles and bacteria from the surface of your countertops, walls and floors.  This is a gentle and highly effective way to clean.  Unlike most other cleaners, Marblelife Tile & Grout Cleaner pulls from deep within the pores of the grout and crevasses of textured tiles, lifting out oils, dirt and residue to reveal the cleanest appearance possible.  This also assures that the oils are not allowed to remain in the pores of your grout where they age and become rancid, emitting odors and harboring bacteria that can be unsafe for the residents of the home or building.

Economical

Marblelife Tile & Grout Cleaner is available in a convenient refill gallon as well as a 32 oz and gallon concentrate.  You can refill your 32 oz spray bottle from the Refill Gallon for $4.98, from the 32oz Concentrate for $1.87 and from the Concentrate Gallon for about a $1.09 per bottle.

Multi-Useful

The great benefit of Marblelife Tile & Grout Cleaner is that with the same cleaner you can clean your countertops, vanity, shower, floors as well as many more surfaces.  As an InterCare based cleaner, you need to see for yourself how wonderfully effective it is on many surfaces in your home or building.

Safer For You, Safe for Granite and Quartz

Many products today that claim to be safe for use on granite are not. Granite is a resilient surface, but can be damaged by some acids, ammonia and other chemicals in popular cleaners which are also not good for you the one using it.

More than that most other granite cleaners leave a residue that builds up over time nor do they remove all the oils which leave a residue that also builds over time. This results in a dull appearance causing most people to seek polishes to restore the shine. This frequently results in even further damage to the granite as in a countertop it rarely needs to truly be polished.

Healthier for You & Your Family

Many common cleaning products on the market today have unhealthy chemical fumes that are not safe for you, your pets and children. Marblelife’s Granite Countertop Cleaner is free from chemical smells.

More importantly, most cleaners do not remove the oils and grease trapped within the pores of your granite kitchen countertop or bathroom vanity. This allows oils and grease to become rancid and bread bacteria this is unhealthy for your family.

MARBLELIFE’s Granite Countertop Cleaner is superior to other cleaners in its ability to clean deep into the pores where the oils and bacteria are trapped and remove everything that is causing your counters to become unsafe. Leaving only a truly clean clear, streak-free shine and eliminating those unpleasant odors that are associated with rancid oils and grease.

Faster & Easier Cleaning

This MARBLELIFE Granite & Quartz Countertop Cleaner is designed for a professional to quickly and very effectively remove all oils, grease, adhesives, dirt and debris from within the pores of granite without causing damage to the surface or the user. This makes for an extremely pleasant experience for the residential or commercial user.

About Granite Countertops

Granite and quartz are beautiful and resilient surfaces popular in kitchen countertops and bathroom vanities.  They are popular because of their beautiful natural appearance as well as their durability.  Both surfaces occur naturally in the earth and are polished to a high shine.  Yet they both still have very small pores and crevasse that can trap oils and debris that can result in a dull appearance.

Both surfaces are resistant to scratches, burns and stains yet can be scratched or burnt in severe cases.  Stains, however, occur more easily and can be at times troublesome to get out.  For this reason, it is highly recommended that you seal your granite and quartz to help reduce the likelihood of stains.

Common Mistakes Cleaning Granite Countertops

There are many common mistakes caring for granite and quartz.  Some of these are using vinegarbleachalcoholdish soaponly waterglass cleaners and other cleaning products.  We have assembled additional information regarding each of these that may be found in the “Quick Tips” section of our Homeowner University.

Some of these can cause directly can damage your stone and others fail to do the job resulting in an unhealthy surface or you attempting other more severe methods of cleaning or polishing that could damage your stone or result in spending money that you didn’t need to.  Please take a minute to review some of these Quick Tips so that you can have a better understanding of how to care for your granite or quartz and can avoid some of these very common pitfalls.

The Proper Care of & Cleaning Granite & Quartz

Step 1 “Cleaning Granite” – Cleaning is the first and most important step in caring for Granite and Quartz.  Making sure to use a granite cleaner that is both safe to not damage your stone as well a one that will remove the oils that get trapped in the pores.  Additionally, your cleaner should not leave a residue.  Marblelife’s cleaner is not the only product that is safe and effective. It’s just that over 25 years of worldwide service of natural stone, this is the best we have experienced and what we use.

Step 2 “Sealing Granite” – Sealing your granite or quartz is the second and next most important step in caring for your granite and quartz.  Sealing your granite or quartz provides both protection against stains and helps make step one cleaning easier for you.  Since harmful oils and some substances can stain your beautiful stone, it is important to use a very high-quality sealer.

A high-quality granite countertop sealer should help keep out damaging oils and substances that would otherwise stain your beautiful countertop or vanity top.  By applying a granite sealer, you also help make daily cleaning quicker and easier.  Sealing your granite or quartz should be done in most cases annually and in high use / high traffic areas, maybe twice a year.  MARBLELIFE Granite Countertop Sealer is an extremely high-quality sealer that makes sealing your countertop affordable, quick and easy.

Step 3 “Polishing Granite” – This step is not actually polishing granite since this would actually take the use of professional honing pads and a professional’s experience.  The best part is, that in many cases, when someone insists that their granite needs to be polished, it only needs to have the residue removed.  This can easily be done by you with Marblelife Granite & Quartz Countertop Cleaner and by following the direction below.

After cleaning and sealing granite the only remaining step may be applying a gloss conditioner such as MARBLELIFE’s Granite Countertop Gloss Conditioner.  The truth is that a good portion of granite and quartz will not take a gloss conditioner or “polish”.  The best way to see if your granite will take a gloss conditioner is to try one like Marblelife’s to see if you get a noticeable improvement.  If you do than simply as often or as seldom as you prefer to add that richer wetter look.  If there is no noticeable difference, then you can save yourself the trouble of trying different products because your granite is too dense to accept anything safe that would enhance it’s appearance.

You may also want to try the MARBLELIFE Granite Countertop Kit that provides you everything you need to care for your Granite and Quartz Countertops.

Repairing Granite or Quartz – You can now see that caring for your granite or quartz is simple, yet care must be taken to use the right products and procedures to ensure its best appearance.  Should your stone have cracks, scratches, and other damage or require any service beyond that described above, it is recommended that you contact your local Marblelife Service Professional for the best care possible.

Directions: MARBLELIFE Granite Countertop Cleaner

Daily Cleaning – Since this granite cleaner works like a liquid sponge, first determine how much “stuff” you are about to clean off.  This will absorb the oils and grease so if the is little to no oil film then just a simple spray, wipe and buff dry is all that is needed for a beautiful streak-free shine.  If there is more oil or grease use more cleaner and rub thoroughly with a rag to loosen up the grease and lift it up into your rag.  In this case it’s best to after wiping off give another light spray, wipe and buff dry to assure that all the oily residue is completely removed from your countertop.  Using a microfiber towel helps to make for an even better experience in reaching a quick easy streak-free shine.

Why Buff Dry? – The importance of buffing dry is this.  This is a high-powered degreaser that is extremely safe for your granite and quartz.  The way it works is by absorbing the oils into itself.  For this reason, after cleaning the surface the cleaner is now carrying debris.  Buffing dry assures that all the now contaminated cleaner is removed from the surface, leaving a wonderful streak-free shine.

Heavy Grease Cleaning – In cases where there is a significant amount of grease, such as after cooking bacon or frying, simply use more cleaner and perhaps a second application.  You’ll need to provide enough cleaner to adequately absorb all the grease from the surface.  After removing all the grease from the surface, use a light spray, wipe and buff dry to finish with a beautiful, healthy, streak-free shine.

Removing Stains – There are many different types of granite and quartz with various degrees of porousness and many types of substances that could stain the stone.  Therefore, there are just as many techniques for removing stains.  The simplest way to remove simple stains is to use Marblelife Granite Countertop Cleaner.  Clean area thoroughly first with this cleaner then stray a puddle of this same cleaner over the stain and let if soak for about 10 minutes.  After allowing to soak scrub with a tooth brush and wipe off with a microfiber towel.  This should resolve most simple, light stains.

IS YOUR MAT COSTING YOU THOUSANDS IN RESTORATION EXPENSES?  Most people do not realize that there is a MAJOR difference in effective mat design.  Mats are there to remove dirt and moisture before they can be trampled into the house, but this only works if the mat allows the dirt and water to fall below the surface.  MARBLELIFE Mats are engineered to extend the life of your floors, and therefore put off expensive restoration for years.

You can feel it working, and can feel when it is done so you waste no time. Makes removal fast, easy and complete.

MARBLELIFE
STONE SEALER

Avoid Staining

MARBLELIFE STONE SEALER – Most grout is NOT sealed when it is first installed. This is an often overlooked feature that saves builder cost, but creates downstream cleaning frustration for the home owner, as unsealed grout will quickly stain as it absorbs dirt simply through the cleaning process. Seal with GROUT SEAL to halt staining by blocking grout pores once and for all. Be Aware: Grout sealers are acid sensitive so avoid ACID BASED CLEANERS. MARBLELIFE cleaners are non-acidic for this very reason.

MARBLELIFE COLORSEAL allows you to restore original grout color uniformity and clean appearance, while avoiding acid sensitive chemistry removing the sensitivity to ph of cleaner to maintain a stain-free appearance. CALL MARBLELIFE for more information

Keeping MARBLE Countertops Looking New

Many people think marble is indestructible and can handle just about anything because it’s stone, and therefore “indestructible”.  Believe it or not, marble needs special care to keep it looking shiny, clean, and stain-free. Here’s why!

Many cleaning products are acidic. Acidic products can dull the finish and color of marble, as acids etch or dissolve marble.  Vinegar, glass cleaners fortified with vinegar, and many glass cleaners use acids as part of the cleaning strategy making the unsuitable for marble. They may sound benign, but they can break down the marble surface causing the need for restoration.

Check out this recent restoration.  The before shows what a vinegar cleaned tabletop looks like, while the after shows what it used to look like, and what it looked like after MARBLELIFE’s restoration visit.

Marble should be cleaned regularly, but with an appropriate non-acidic marble safe cleaner, such as MARBLELIFE® MARBLE & TRAVERTINE CLEANER.  Never use bleach or abrasive scrubbing sponges.

MARBLELIFE® has the right cleaner for every hard surface and job. We carry a marble cleaner that is safe, non-toxic and easy to use. It is made especially for marble so it won’t scratch or dull the surface or its finish. Even dish soap is not recommended.

Even tap water can create a problem is local water sources contain iron (rust stains), hard water or mildly acidic.  Mildly acidic simply means it takes a little longer to dull your table.  Marblelife cleaners are so effective that if we made them with tap water the first thing they would clean is the water itself, literally removing the impurities and separating them from the water.  Just one reason of many that, MARBLELIFE® utilizes purified water.

Want a shiny surface?  So do most American homeowners.  In the US unlike other places we associate clean with a shiny surface.  Unfortunately, many manufacturers have begun adding waxes to their products in order to capitalize on this association.  Waxes trap dirts and being soft actually attract dirt to the surface.  MARBLELIFE goes another way, our cleaners are formulated to remove oils and other surface impurities which allow dirt to stick to surfaces for a truly clean safe and marble friendly surface.

Stick with Marblelife® Marble & Travertine cleaner and you won’t go wrong.

Stains? Its easier to prevent a stain than remove one.  Once these pesky colorful chemicals soak into your stone, cleaning them out is like trying to clean a test tube with a sponge…its tough to reach the bottom.  While our cleaner does an exceptional job penetrating pores and floating debris out to the surface, the best answer to stains is simply not to get them.  This means sealing your stone surfaces periodically to fill in those pores before they trap frustrating color.  MARBLELIFE’s simple wipe-on wipe-off STONE SEALER should be applied every other year.  A little TLC will save a ton of tears associated with the cost to remove a stain, as this will mean taking your surface out of service for several days while it is poultice repeatedly to draw out the stain, and then without assurances of success.  Better to spend a few minutes and seal your counters periodically.

How To Clean Your Stainless Steel

Cleaning all of the diverse surfaces in your home properly can be confusing and time consuming. However, when you have products that can get the job done and be used for more than one purpose, you’ll likely save time, money, and a ton of stress. With MARBLELIFE stone care products, you can clean your beautiful stone surfaces and even clean other surfaces such as wood, furniture, and even stainless steel.

Cleaning Your Stainless Is Painless With MARBLELIFE

If you’re already a subscriber to MARBLELIFE cleaning products, then you’ll be happy to find out that you can use our InterCare cleaner to clean your stainless steel surfaces. InterCare cleaner is already acid-free, which would prevent any damages or discoloring, plus InterCare is made to actually clean surface oils and residues—not just make it look clean. This is the type of cleaner you want for oil, grease, and germ build-up rather than a generic, acidic cleaner that leaves a film of surface oil.

If you happen to have outdoor stainless steel surfaces, this product still is able to get the job done. MARBLELIFE’s InterCare cleaner has tackled the hardest jobs on rusted metal as a result of rain, humidity, sea salt, and snow salt exposure.

Streak-Free Shines With MARBLELIFE

One concern with stainless steel is that there are streaks left after the cleaning process. You can eliminate any of these for a perfect shine with MARBLELIFE’s Soap Scum Remover to remove stains and streaks. This product is engineered with an abrasive designed to be softer than the metal but harder than the residue creating the streak. The result is it powers through the streak and breaks down on contact with the metal selectively removing the streak and leaving behind a pristine clean surface.

Clean With The Experts

You might think that these cleaning tips are a tad bias, however we’re just extremely confident in our product. That’s a result of our decades of experience and field research. We’ve learned much of what we can about stone surfaces and along the way decided we would make life easier for you by making our products safe and effective for bathroom, kitchen, and other surfaces.

MARBLELIFE Can Clean More Than Stone?

MARBLELIFE craftsmen and products are known for their superior cleaning abilities when it comes to natural stone. But, did you know that MARBLELIFE also has some great tricks for wood flooring, cabinets, and furniture care? We’re going to let you in on those secrets, now!

Different Types Of Wood

The term “wood” is an all encompassing term that refers to materials such as solid wood, engineered wood, laminate, and imitation wood.

  • Solid wood is one piece of real wood cut to size.
  • Engineered wood consists of several layers of wood like in plywood with the top layer being the quality finished wood.
  • Laminate is a synthetic material that looks like wood glued on top of a fiber board type of material.
  • Imitation would be a completely man made material made to resemble the look and possibly texture of wood. The wood veneer surface is often a printed vinyl, paper or plastic.

In each case, however the vast majority of these materials have a top coat finish on them that provides the gloss, semi-gloss, satin or matte finish we have selected or prefer in our piece. These surface treatments are what we are actually interacting with when we are cleaning.

The Problem With Common Cleaning Methods

The use of polishes and oil soaps only leave a residue on the surface of the synthetic coating. In turn, they are applying an oil. Oils may provide a glossy appearance initially, but their very nature is such that they also attract dirt which sticks to this moist sticky surface. The oils also tend to evaporate over time, which is why you find yourself constantly having to re-apply.

Thus, the act of applying these ineffective materials has us removing trapped surface dust, but later re-apply the dust trap once again. An effective cleaner will eliminate the surface oils from these surfaces, halting the trapping of dust and debris for a longer lasting clean.

The Alternative You Need

If you have MARBLELIFE’s InterCare Cleaner, then you can use this product to help you remove surface oils as it doesn’t leave residues behind. Or you can get a hold of the cleaner made specifically for optimal cleaning of your wood surfaces, MARBLELIFE’s Wood & Laminate Cleaner. This cleaner makes wood easy to clean and leaves gloss that’s non-damaging for a beautiful shine. Its purpose is to remove oil, grease and dirt, without depositing any artificial waxes, for a true, healthy clean.

With the right cleaners, you’ll find that you’re cleaning less and actually improving your wood surfaces, rather than witnessing a “fake clean” that unfortunately makes the situation worse. Simply turn to MARBLELIFE for all of your surface needs! Our team of professionals can personally help you improve your residential or commercial surfaces or we can provide you with the proper materials to do it yourself.

Cleaning Your Hardwood Floors

If wood flooring, cabinets, furniture, or any type of surface lies in the heart of your home, then you probably have had some questions regarding the proper methods of maintenance. But, no matter what type of wood is present in your home, there is one technique that you can employ to ensure there are no stains, marks, discoloring, or other damages. We’re here to let you in on this cleaning secret that you won’t want to miss.

Prolonging Your Wood’s Look

Wood has the ability to make any part of your home look amazing! Whether it has a gloss, semi-gloss, satin, or matte finish, preserving that look all has to do with how you maintain it.

The surface finishing is what you’re actually interacting with when you’re cleaning. It’s not so much the wood, so much as it is the coating. These coatings typically consist of a urethane, acrylic, enamel or other man made element. So, you’ll have to know how to clean these coatings in order to maintain the look and prevent surfaces from damaging.

Common Mistakes

When attempting to bring out the best look in wood surfaces, many people make mistakes. They might not even notice, however, over time, damage and the appearance will show when it’s too late.

When cleaning, people will often use polishes and oil soaps. This only leaves a residue on the surface of the synthetic coating. Essentially, they are applying an oil, which provides an initial glossy look, but actually attracts dirt that sticks to a moist, sticky surface. The oil eventually evaporates and you have to constantly reapply. Furthermore, the surface is certainly not clean. Wipe the dust away from the surface, only to reapply the dust trapper is counterproductive.

An Effective Method

Instead of maintaining a cyclical issue of wood maintenance, you can choose to obtain an effective cleaner, which removes surface oils. Removing surface oils will put an end to the dust and dirt trap for a proper clean.

Choose a product that actually picks up surface oils without leaving residue or damage. These products must be free of acidic elements, depositing waxes, or oils. You don’t just want something to look clean, you want it to be clean.

One product that you should consider employing is MARBLELIFE’s InterCare Cleaner. Sure, it may have been originally designed for stone and marble surfaces, however, MARBLELIFE quickly noticed a struggle with wood, furniture, and cabinets. Thus, MARBLELIFE’s InterCare Cleaner is a great option for those looking for an all-around cleaner that actually works. It dusts, cleans, and shines all at the same time. And it’s made by the professionals who have years of experience working on the ground-floor.

However, no matter if you choose MARBLELIFE or not, be aware of the way you should be cleaning your wood. Actually make sure your surfaces are clean, and don’t just look clean.

A Step-By-Step Process To Cleaning Your Marble

Pretty woman doing her house chores at homeThere are a lot of step-by-step guides for many processes you may encounter in life and cleaning your marble and travertine surfaces are no exception. Cleaning and maintaining them may seem like an easy process, but there are multiple steps that one should take if you’re truly committed to making them stand out. It also doesn’t take much time or effort. It only necessitates the right knowledge.

If you want to know how to clean your marble and travertine to ensure that your floors, countertops, and other surfaces can maintain their beauty, shine, and perfection, then read on!

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

Before jumping into any process, you want to gear up with the right tools. For a complete job you’ll need: a microfiber towel, acid-free stone cleaner, stone polish, stone sealer, and stone conditioner. You can find all of these products at: MARBLELIFE Product website. These products were made by the professionals with the consumer in mind. They’re easy to use, effective, and safe.

In this step-by-step, we’ll be using MARBLELIFE products.

Step 2: Start Cleaning

For marble and travertine countertops you’ll want to simply spray your Marble & Travertine InterCare cleaner and wipe with a microfiber cloth. Use the damp side and dry off with the other side of the cloth until it’s too damp and switch it out. For large areas like tile floors, attach cloths to a swiffer type mop and use the same process but with the Marble Cleaner Concentrate.

Step 3: Polish Your Stone

Once dry, you’ll want to repair your stone by buffing out minor scratches and stains with Marble Polish and a polishing pad (or towel). Simply apply an egg-sized amount of polish to etches and scratches and buff out with the pad. For advanced details check out MARBLELIFE’s polish page.

Step 4: Seal Your Stone

You want to seal your stone and close its pores at least once every one or two years. This way your marble has less of a chance for staining and holding bacteria. If you want to seal your tile, then you will likely want to employ a professional. However, if you have some manageable countertops, then you can use some home Stone Sealer.

This process will be another simple one where you can use a dry cloth (or sponge) and apply about an ounce of sealer onto the surface. Spread the sealer so that the entire surface is wet and allow to soak for ten minutes. After ten minutes, buff dry. See more details here.

Step 5: Condition Your Marble

You don’t have to condition your stone unless you see dulling or lack of shine. This normally comes from lack of maintenance or acidic cleaners. If you do condition your countertops or small floor areas, simply apply Marble Gloss Conditioner to the surface and work into the stone with a cloth. Then, let it dry for an hour and buff off remaining conditioner.

Holding wine glassesThey say it’s the most beautiful time of the year! Yes, that’s right it’s time for the holidays. The holidays invite all kinds of fun, friends, and family, which can all be exciting and overwhelming at the same time. And what are we most overwhelmed over? Is it buying presents, hopping between parties, or balancing work? Stress definitely stems from all of these factors, but a huge source of stress comes from hosting parties. If you’re the host for this year’s holiday festivities, then you’ll want to look at this checklist of tasks to do before the guests show up. You’ll be happy to have the advanced organization.

Gather Your Guests

Make sure you have a good idea of how many guests will be attending. Send out an invitation (digital or physical) and ask people to RSVP. If they haven’t by a certain time, then send a nice reminder. This way you don’t have to overestimate and over-prepare or be blindsided and be underprepared. You can have the right amount of food, favors, and fun with less stress.

Make Your Own List

Every party needs something different so unfortunately we can’t make this list for you. But we can give you some suggestions! Decide what type of food you’ll be serving or if you’ll hire a caterer. If you need to pick up some decorations, party favors, a new suit, or other accessories, write them down and get out with plenty of time to collect them. Get organized!

Clean, Clean, And Clean

The one thing that you cannot forget to do is clean! First impressions are everything and whether you’re trying to impress your friends, parents, co-workers, or even potential business partners, a clean house says more than you ever could. Cleaning your home sends the message that you care for your guest’s comfort and have your life organized. (Even if you feel you don’t, perception is everything.)

A useful tip when you clean, start with the kitchen. If you have stone flooring or countertops, then you know these are the heart of the home and give it life and beauty. Clean it properly with non-acidic and safe cleaners. Be sure to also polish out any stains or scratches. Finally, add some conditioner to give your kitchen a bright shine that’s sure to stand out. Repeat these steps anywhere else in the home that you find stone surfaces. If you simply don’t have the time, call up the professionals from MARBLELIFE and they’ll have your home sparkling and perfect in a snap!

Sit Back And Relax

The party checklist is actually not that long, but people still stress. It’s all about getting organized and feeling confident. So just sit back, relax, and enjoy the holiday spirit. Don’t let hosting the party bring you down! Turn on some fun holiday music, dance around the kitchen while you clean, and spread the holiday cheer not only to your guests, but also to yourself!

Happy holidays and good luck hosting!
